There are two tomatoes called Red Brandywine out in circulation now that are very similar to each other. This is a version of Brandywine that offers red fruit with luscious old-time, red tomato flavor. This early maturing banana pepper averages 9 inches in length and 1.75 to 2 inches in width. It produces a large and heavy set of peppers on a strong plant that protects the fruit. Chocolate Cherry has burgundy colored petals with a dark chocolate center. Flowers are 5 to 6 inches in width and look stunning in a bunch. Multi-branching. Just perfect for container growing or smaller gardens. Plants grow no more than 18 inches tall and can be grown in a 6-inch pot. Round, bright red cherry tomatoes are about 3/4 inch in diameter. Determinate. 60 days.

King of the North just got better. This improved variety is now 10 days earlier to mature. The three or four lobed fruit mature from green to red and have good flavor.

Seed for this habanero variety was found in the Caribbean, and grows a fiercely hot pepper that is hotter than the regular orange habanero. Dried samples of Caribbean Red measured 445,000 Scoville units whereas regular habanero tested at about 260,000 Scovilles. This heirloom variety bears 8 to 10 oz. burgundy-purple tomatoes that have an exquisite taste with the richness and complexity of fine wine. The fruit found growing in an Arkansas garden gets its name from the faint green stripes that fade as tomatoes ripen. This variety has been compared to Cherokee Purple, but Indian Stripe bears more heavily and the fruit is a bit lighter in color. Indeterminate. 80 days.

Very unusual and ornamental pepper plant is variegated both on the foliage and the peppers themselves. Both leaves and fruit are striped with creamy white and green, with the peppers eventually turning orange-red. Very hot fruit, 1 to 2 inches long, was used to season fish and shellfish in Baltimore and Philadelphia back in the 1930’s and 1940’s. 75 days.

This is the first bicolor oxheart tomato we have seen, and it exhibits the best qualities of both types. Tomatoes weigh 8 ozs. or more and are heart-shaped with smooth golden flesh marbled inside with streaks of red. This beautiful tomato is a ribbed beefsteak type with sweet and meaty flesh. It resembles an heirloom tomato but is more firm. The interior is yellow with red streaks, while the outside is mostly yellow, occasionally turning orange and yellow. Fruit weighs 18 to 24 ounces. The strong indeterminate vines produce fruit over a long period due to excellent disease resistances FFFVV and intermediate resistance to Spotted Wilt Virus, and Late Blight. This is an amazing cherry tomato with very high levels of anthocyanin that show up as beautiful deep purple skin. This sweet bell pepper starts green and turns to a bright and attractive orange color. Orange King pepper is great for salads, stir fry, or eating fresh for a delicious and healthy snack. Maturity 75 for green peppers, 87 days for orange.

This is the first yellow jalapeno pepper developed, from the Texas Agricultural Extension Service. Fruit is a beautiful golden-yellow before turning orange then red, making for a beautiful show on the compact plants. Peppers are just as hot as regular jalapenos. 70 days.
