This slender Asian eggplant is one of the longest available. Its beautiful purple skin is so thin that peeling is unnecessary and creamy white flesh is reliably mild with no bitterness. This variety is well named for its huge 2 lb. beefsteaks that are deep golden with red streaking. The coloration is distinctive from other bicolored tomatoes in that this variety is almost orange with more extensive red streaking, making for a very colorful fruit.
