This Italian heirloom eggplant is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful of all eggplants for its rich purple striping on creamy white skin. Large size and lovely pink-lavender skin is part of what make Rosita special. Another characteristic is some of the whitest, mildest flesh of any eggplant available. Large fruits have a teardrop shape and become 8 to 9 inches long. Developed in Puerto Rico in the 1940’s. 70 days.

AAS WINNER. This compact variety yields an abundance of personal-sized, 2 to 3-inch long eggplants that are thornless for easy harvesting. Round, deep-violet fruit comes from Tuscany and is an Italian heirloom. Eggplant are about the size of a Rosa Bianca, but are a beautiful jewel-toned purple with white, mild-tasting flesh inside. This very productive variety offers wonderful color and shape for the eggplant grower. 73 days.

Glossy, dark, purple-black skin and outstanding production are what make this variety really special. Its classic Italian shape is an elongated oval up to 9 inches long and fruit has a very firm flesh with a slow seed development, prolonging fruit quality. Slender Asian eggplant is 6 to 8 inches long and dark purple with a purple calyx to match. Very few seeds, tender skin, and white flesh make this eggplant easy to prepare. This white skinned ornamental pumpkin has thick orange flesh with excellent eating quality. Fruit weigh between 10 and 16 pounds, and are 9 to 12 inches in diameter. Casper has less bluing than other white varieties. The handle is tan with a corky texture. 90 days.

This variety is nearly 100 years old, and still well-loved as the classic big-fruited black eggplant. Glossy fruits become quite large but are well shaped, and perfect for slicing into thick eggplant steaks for grilling or eggplant Parmesan. 80 days.
