Pineapple Ground Cherry

Pineapple Ground Cherry has a sweet, fruity taste that reminds you of a pineapple. The short, spreading plants yield plenty of marble sized  fruit that should be harvested after the fruit have ripened to yellow and the husks are papery.  The fruit become edible when they turn yellow. Good for jams, pies and eating fresh when ripe. The paper husk should not be eaten.   75 days
